Nitrous Oxide cream chargers are sometimes also called Nangs. ‘Nangs’ is a typically Australian slang term for nitrous oxide whipped cream chargers.
Whip cream chargers (Nangs) come in a standard 8 gram bulb that is used with a whipped cream dispenser. Each 8 gram bulb contains net between 7.8 grams to 8.2 grams of nitrous oxide (N2O) gas. Cream chargers including the outside metal container weigh about 25 grams.
Cream chargers usually come in packs of 10, 24 or 50 chargers. Some brands such as whip-it also produce packs of 100 cream chargers.
CO2 bulbs are NOT considered nangs. CO2 chargers are used to make soda or carbonated drinks and are very different from cream chargers.
